The Cotwolds is an area of great beauty in England.It has a number of delightful villages and small towms with lovely ols buildings that haveremained unchanged sicne the area was a major commercial center several centuries ago. The countryside in the area is charming and most of the buildings there are made from an attractive type of light stone that is particular to the Cotwolds. In the summer the Cotwolds can get rather crowded but it is always possible to find pretty places that do not have the fame of the more well-known villages and towns. There is no shortage of pleasant hotels and traditional inns for visitors to stay in and the Cotwolds area is an excellent placefor an enjoyable weekend or longer trip.
